Request for Public Interest Information
Free and unrestricted access for any person in Romania to public interest information—as defined by Law No. 544/2001—constitutes one of the fundamental principles governing the relationship between individuals and public authorities.
“Public interest information” is understood as any information concerning the activities of, or resulting from the activities of, a public authority or public institution, regardless of the medium, form, or manner in which the information is expressed.
